INCLUSIVE.  DURABLE.  ATTRACTIVE.  D.A.S. accessible picnic tables have been thoughtfully designed to provide long-lasting value and an inclusive experience for all users of parks and public spaces.

• Two accessible seating places allow for multiple wheelchairs or a choice of positions.  Additional bench seats can be added in place of accessible places upon request.  
• Design optimizes inclusiveness by placing wheelchairs at the heart of the gathering, rather than at one end, with the centre of the table reachable by all.
• Design allows caregivers to situate themselves comfortably between someone in a wheelchair (or stroller) and other people in their care.
• Accessible spaces can also be used to accommodate strollers or BBQs.  
• Compact footprint keeps group members connected and limits required pad size.
• Elegant polished concrete and steel construction provides a clean, modern look that stands out from standard commercial furniture.
• Design meets or exceeds accessible picnic table specifications as defined by CSA, ADA, and Ability NB ((see CSA B651-12).
• D.A.S. outdoor products can be left outside year round with minimal maintenance.

Specifications:

• Concrete table top & bench seats are made from 2" thick reinforced, polished concrete
  • sealed with professional quality exterior grade penetrating sealer.

Assembly & installation

• Assembly required on site to secure table top & bench seats to frame (hardware included)
• Frame must be anchored to concrete, asphalt or similar surface for stability using base plates at the bottom of table legs
• Consult applicable guidelines for accessible outdoor recreation facilities in your area to confirm requirements for clearance around tables, and access to table sites from nearby pathways and trails

Care & Maintenance

• DAS Accessible Picnic Tables can be left outside year round with minimal maintenance
• For maximum longevity, reseal concrete table top and benches as per care and maintenance instructions (provided with purchase)
• Hot items (e.g. BBQs) can be placed directly on the concrete surface
• Clean and sanitize with water or pH neutral cleaner, as required (products available through D.A.S.)
• Stains, chips and scratches can be repaired, if required
